PixelPace Guest Terms of Use

Effective date: August 5, 2026

These Guest Terms of Use apply when you visit a PixelPace gallery, register for an event, upload a selfie, select favourites, or download photographs made available by a photography studio.

PixelPace is operated by LogicGates Technologies. By continuing to use a PixelPace guest or gallery experience, you agree to these Guest Terms. Your consent to Smart Matching is requested separately and is not created merely by accepting these Guest Terms.

1. PixelPace and the event studio

PixelPace provides the technology used by professional photographers and studios to publish galleries, register guests, deliver photographs, and provide Smart Matching.

The studio controls:

• the event and gallery;
• the photographs and videos it uploads;
• who may access the gallery;
• which photographs are delivered;
• gallery availability, download permissions, and client communication;
• whether Smart Matching is enabled for an event.

Questions about the event, photography service, copyright, delivered photographs, or the studio's decisions should normally be directed to the studio.

2. Guest access

A studio may give you access through an event link, gallery link, PIN, email, or another access method.

You must:

• provide accurate information when registering;
• use only links and PINs that you are authorised to use;
• keep private links and PINs reasonably secure;
• avoid accessing another person's private gallery or photographs without permission;
• notify the studio or support@pixelpace.io if you believe access information has been compromised.

Access to one event or gallery does not give you permission to access another event, gallery, account, or restricted part of PixelPace.

3. Photographs, videos, and copyright

Photographs, videos, branding, and other gallery materials remain owned by the studio, photographer, client, or other applicable rights holder.

The ability to view, favourite, select, or download a photograph does not transfer copyright or any other ownership right to you.

You may use downloaded material only:

• as permitted by the studio or rights holder;
• for lawful personal purposes, unless the studio expressly permits another use;
• without removing copyright notices, watermarks, or access controls;
• without selling, licensing, scraping, redistributing, or commercially exploiting it unless you have permission.

The studio may apply additional conditions to the use of its photographs. If those conditions conflict with these Guest Terms, the more restrictive lawful condition applies to the photograph or gallery concerned.

4. Guest information

Depending on the event and features you use, PixelPace may process:

• your name and email address;
• a guest selfie;
• event and gallery access information;
• favourites and photograph selections;
• download and delivery activity;
• Smart Matching and face-group results.

How this information is handled is explained in the PixelPace Privacy Policy.

5. Smart Matching

Smart Matching helps a studio identify photographs in which you may appear.

If you choose to participate:

1. You take or upload a selfie.
2. The selfie is stored in restricted cloud storage.
3. It is downloaded to the studio's computer when the studio performs matching.
4. Sensitive facial analysis and comparison run locally on that computer.
5. The studio reviews suggested matches before delivering photographs.

Smart Matching may produce incorrect or incomplete results. False positive and false negative matches are possible. The studio, not PixelPace, is responsible for reviewing and approving photographs before delivery.

Smart Matching must not be used for surveillance, security, authentication, law enforcement, or making decisions about a person's identity, rights, access, safety, or eligibility.

PixelPace does not use guest selfies, face crops, face representations, or matching information for advertising, sale, or training general-purpose AI models.

6. Separate Smart Matching consent

Uploading a selfie for Smart Matching is optional unless the studio makes it a condition of a separate event service.

Before taking or uploading a selfie, you will be asked to give specific consent for your selfie and facial information to be processed for event-photo matching. Accepting these Guest Terms alone does not provide that consent.

You must upload only:

• a selfie of yourself; or
• a selfie of another person when you are legally authorised to act for that person.

You must not upload another person's photograph to identify, track, test, investigate, or impersonate them.

7. Children

Selfie-based Smart Matching is currently available only if you confirm that you are 18 or older.

If you are under 18, do not upload a selfie for Smart Matching. The studio may offer a non-selfie workflow instead.

Parents and guardians may contact the event studio or support@pixelpace.io concerning a minor's information.

8. Withdrawal and deletion requests

You may request deletion through the deletion-request option in an unlocked gallery. To withdraw Smart Matching consent or request correction, access, information, or another privacy action, contact support@pixelpace.io.

PixelPace may need to verify your identity, event, and relationship to the relevant registration. Because the studio controls the event and photographs, PixelPace will coordinate or relay the request to the studio where necessary.

A withdrawal or deletion request does not automatically remove:

• photographs controlled by the studio;
• photographs already delivered or downloaded;
• copies independently stored outside PixelPace;
• records that must be retained for security or legal reasons.

9. Favourites, selections, and downloads

When you favourite, select, view, or download photographs, PixelPace may record that activity so the studio can provide its gallery and delivery services.

Favourites and selections are workflow tools. They do not guarantee album inclusion, editing, printing, continued storage, delivery by a particular date, or availability for a particular period unless the studio separately agrees to those matters.

You should download any photographs you are entitled to retain before the gallery expires or the studio removes access.

10. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• use PixelPace for an unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful purpose;
• access or attempt to access content that was not provided to you;
• share private links or PINs with unauthorised persons;
• impersonate another person or submit misleading registration information;
• upload another person's selfie without legal authority;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-extract, copy, or index galleries using automated means;
• bypass download, privacy, security, or access restrictions;
• interfere with, overload, probe, attack, or introduce malicious code into PixelPace;
• reverse engineer or extract the application, service, or Smart Matching models except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• use Smart Matching for surveillance or unrelated identification;
• infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

If you believe a gallery contains prohibited, illegal, or inappropriate content, report it to support@pixelpace.io and include the gallery link and enough detail for us to investigate. Do not download or redistribute the reported material.

11. Availability and gallery removal

Gallery and event availability depends on the studio's PixelPace account, trial or plan status, publishing decisions, and applicable retention periods.

PixelPace does not guarantee that:

• a gallery will remain available permanently;
• every photograph will be uploaded or delivered;
• a message or gallery link will reach you;
• Smart Matching will locate every photograph of you;
• downloads will remain available after gallery expiry or account termination;
• the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

The studio or PixelPace may restrict or remove access where required for security, privacy, legal compliance, service expiry, or violation of these Guest Terms.

12. Privacy and security

PixelPace uses measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transmission, restricted cloud storage, time-limited or signed media links, account-based access controls, and restricted administrative access.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device, email account, links, downloaded files, and PINs.

You should not use a shared or public device for a private gallery unless you can securely remove downloaded files and browser data afterwards.

13. PixelPace intellectual property

PixelPace software, branding, interfaces, documentation, Smart Matching models, and related platform materials are owned by LogicGates Technologies or its licensors.

You receive only a limited, revocable right to use the guest and gallery features made available to you for their intended purpose. You may not resell, rent, commercially sublicense, copy, or create a competing service from PixelPace.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PixelPace is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, permanent availability, data preservation, delivery, fitness for a particular purpose, or Smart Matching accuracy.

PixelPace is the technology provider. It is not responsible for the studio's photography services, event management, editing choices, delivery decisions, permissions, communications, or approval of match results.

Nothing in these Guest Terms excludes a right or obligation that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.

15. Exclusion of monetary liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LogicGates Technologies, its proprietor, licensors, contractors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for monetary damages or compensation arising from or relating to:

• unavailable, delayed, removed, or incomplete galleries;
• failed messages or delivery links;
• incorrect or missed Smart Matching results;
• photographs approved or delivered by a studio;
• loss of favourites, selections, downloads, or access;
• actions of a studio, photographer, event organiser, internet provider, device, marketplace, email provider, or other third party;
• unauthorised access resulting from a shared link, PIN, email account, or guest device.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Changes

PixelPace may update these Guest Terms as the service, law, or guest features change. The current version will show its effective date. Critical security changes may take effect immediately. Where applicable law requires notice or renewed consent, PixelPace will provide it. Changes to these Guest Terms do not replace the need for separate consent to Smart Matching.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Guest Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and PixelPace will first attempt in good faith to resolve the issue through the contact details below.

Subject to rights and jurisdictions that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude, the competent courts in Kerala, India will have exclusive jurisdiction.

18. General

If any provision of these Guest Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

These Guest Terms and the Privacy Policy govern your use of PixelPace guest and gallery features. A studio may separately provide additional event, photography, delivery, or copyright terms.
